I was finishing a call with the receptionist at our pediatrician’s office…
Me: OK, that’s all I need. Thank you! Bye.
Aurora: *smacking noise* It’s very nice to give kisses when you say bye!

Quinn in a 9 month outfit (it’s from Carter’s, so it’s not a strange size or anything like that). Quinn is 5 months and 10 days old.

More often than not, if I set Quinn down on the floor, I’ll find him somewhere else when I look for him next. He can still only scoot backwards, but he’s SO CLOSE to going forwards. It’s going to be a circus around here soon! :)

Quinn is very eager to try “real” food but he’s still so little. I let him suck on a carrot for a bit today and he seemed to enjoy it.

I was explaining to Aurora that my sister, Jessica, is going to have another baby. Then I decided to get Aurora’s prediction…
Me: Aurora, do you think Auntie Jessica will have a baby boy or girl?
Aurora: A prince!
Me: A boy?
Aurora: Yes! We need TWO princes to visit!
So there you go. Aurora predicts a baby brother for sweet James.

Aurora informed us that Quinn wanted to sit in the booster seat at dinner time. He enjoyed it for about 15 minutes. :-)

This train set was definitely a good gift. We all enjoy it and already agree that we need more track. ;-)

When on his belly, Quinn can purposefully turn himself to face whatever direction he wants and can push himself backwards. The baby gates are on notice: mobility is in sight for the newest little Wade!

Someone is a princess in a princess dress with a princess crown and a princess scarf. ;-)

We went to get Aurora for dinner since she wasn’t coming to our calls. We found her reading a book and asked her to close it and put it down. She started crying. She said, “Please, don’t close it! Don’t take it away! I’m not done! I’m not done!” What book was she so fascinated by? The Universe in a Nutshell by Stephen Hawking.
